A planned IPUMS system update is scheduled for Monday, December 9. The maintenance window is 10am to 1pm CST. Within that window, each site will have a brief outage of 10 or fewer minutes. This notice will be removed as soon as the update is complete.


The AHTUS is a harmonized collection of time diary data from the U.S. for the period 1965 to 2012. AHTUS-X is a data extract builder that allows users to create custom time use variables and data extracts for analysis. This project is a collaboration of the Minnesota Population Center, the Maryland Population Research Center and the Centre for Time Use Research at the University College London.
